It all seems to have gone a bit quiet when it comes to Kieran Tierney’s future with Celtic. At the moment, we only really know that Arsenal has made one bid for the player that has been turned down.
There have been rumours of other bids for the player, but Arsenal seem to have turned their attention to other targets.
Napoli have also been credited with an interest, but as yet nothing concrete has happened there. Does that mean Tierney is guaranteed to be at Celtic for the start of next season? It is too early to tell.

Speculation not as intense as it was
However, it could be a good sign that the constant speculation seems to have calmed down a little.
The fact that Tierney is recovering from his double hernia operation could also have a slight bearing on any potential transfer.

You would imagine that any decision on Tierney’s future will be decided by the time the transfer window closes.
Future may be decided by time transfer window closes

Interestingly, that is on the 9th of August in England, and the 18th of August in Italy. If any team is serious about buying Tierney, any bids will need to be made by then.
For now though, things seem to be relatively quiet. The Hoops would no doubt be delighted to keep the player for at least another season. Only time will tell will happens on that front.
