Celtic have agreed a deal to sign Joel Mvuka from Lorient, according to a report.
It has been a week of wingers, with the likes of Fares Ghedjemis and Demir Redzic reportedly being pursued for January moves for the Hoops.
With Martin O’Neill’s position only temporary, the loan market is also a focus for Celtic, evidenced by their two acquisitions so far.
With less than 48 hours of the window remaining, only Tomas Cvancara and Julian Araujo have been brought to Parkhead, despite a clear need for additions.
But according to reports in France, we are about to add another wide option.

Celtic set to sign Joel Mvuka
According to Ouest France, Mvuka is heading to the Hoops from Ligue 1 side Lorient.
The 23-year-old Norwegian has started just five league games for the club since their promotion last season.

A youth international for Norway, Mvuka began his career with Asane, before moving to Bodo/Glimt in 2021.
He was a teammate of Sebastian Tounekti at the Norwegian side, before his performances drew the attention of Lorient, who paid €5.5 million for his services three years ago.
His career with the French club has never really gotten off the ground – and nor have his numbers, which don’t make for great reading.
The rapid winger spent six months on loan at Young Boys in Switzerland in 2024, but started just four league games in Bern.
He is now seemingly on the move again, with O’Neill taking a chance on a player who has been unable to find momentum since leaving Norway.
And for Mvuka, the objective is simple: earn a place in Norway’s squad at the World Cup in North America this summer.
Celtic-bound Joel Mvuka on World Cup dreams
Speaking about his World Cup ambitions, Mvuka said: “Representing Norway at the World Cup would be so amazing for me.
“The last few years have been incredible for Norway. There are many great players performing well, and the development of football in Norway is excellent.
“And I can assure you that many more will arrive very soon. My aim for this season has been to keep playing as much as possible and get as many assists as I can.
“I was always a winger, but last season at Lorient they tried me out as a wing back and I really enjoyed it.
“This means I have to be much more focused because I also have to think about defending. I enjoyed my loan spell in Switzerland with Young Boys and the standard was very high.”
