BBC journalist Scott Mullen has provided a transfer update that should be of some interest to the Celtic support.
The writer revealed on his Twitter account that David Turnbull has completed his medical with Celtic. His move to the Hoops should be announced at some time over the weekend.

That will be good news to the Celtic support, as the deal has been a long-time coming.
Turnbull is the first signing of what the Hoops support and boss Neil Lennon will hope will be many this summer.
Deal dragged on for a while

The deal to sign the midfielder has dragged on for a while. At one stage it seemed certain that the player was going to sign for Norwich. However, it seems that his mind has been made up to make the move to Celtic Park.
Could be mainstay of side

The fact the Hoops are paying over £3 million for the player shows that they must rate him very highly. He could well be a mainstay of the side under Neil Lennon.
The player could make his first appearance in a Hoops jersey in next weeks’ tour of Austria. If that goes well, there is no reason for Turnbull not to be involved in the Champions League tie against Sarajevo next week.
He will be out to show that the Hoops were correct to spend big on a player at the beginning of his career.
