Celtic player Conor Hazard finds himself in an interesting situation. Last season the current third choice goalkeeper at the club left to join Partick Thistle on loan for the second half of the season.
He made 15 appearances for the Jags, and was one of the reasons the Firhill side didn’t get relegated from the Championship. Now he is back at Celtic, and currently doesn’t look like getting first-team football anytime soon.
Form of number one keeping player out of side

That is due to the form of current number one Scott Bain. Hazard also has to overcome the veteran Craig Gordon, who may be starting his last season at the club, as his contract is due to expire at the end of the season.
Hazard will want to play regular football again now that he has a taste for it. He is still only 21, and has a long time ahead of him in the game.
However, after loan spells at both Falkirk and Partick, Hazard will want to play. Perhaps another loan deal will be the answer to that.
Season long loan move would be ideal

A season long loan deal to a Championship or Premiership side would give Hazard the first-team opportunities he currently isn’t getting at Celtic.
The deal could have a clause in it which would see the player return to Celtic in case of an injury crisis. Should Hazard succeed on loan, by the time he returns to the club next season Gordon may have left, and he will be one step closer to being the Hoops’ number one goalkeeper.
It is a situation that should suit all parties.
