However, news on its progression has stagnated especially after the signing of Patryk Klimala.

Kadewere has scored 18 goals in 20 Ligue 2 appearances with four assists in this campaign.

The Zimbabwe international appears to be the main target for Lyon in this window.

He has all the attributes which top strikers have including his impressive physicality.

Paris Normandie report that personal terms are agreed but the transfer fee is still to be worked out. Both sides’ representatives are set to meet with the transfer to go over the line “today or tomorrow.”

Le Havre are expected to ask for a loan back until the end of the season for the league’s top scorer.

Meanwhile, Celtic turned their attention from Kadewere to Klimala who signed last week. However, is there something more linking Kadewere to Celtic other than the potential transfer move?

Moussa Dembele key to Frenchman’s Lyon move?

It appears to be down to the detail when it comes to Kadewere’s Lyon transfer.

Paris Normandie report the fee could reach 15 million Euros for the Kadewere move, immediately ruling the Hoops out the race.

The former Hoops man has been constantly linked with moves to the English Premier League.

It may not happen in January, but if Kadewere is loaned back to Le Havre, surely the writing is on the wall for Dembele in the summer.

Lyon won’t keep an expensive buy on the bench while Dembele, an asset, can be sold on for big money.

Lyon appear to be taking out the middle man – Celtic – this time round when it comes to this transfer.
