Celtic’s Europa League campaign has been… mixed, so far.
A 2-0 home defeat to Braga was certainly a low point, as Gustaf Lagerbielke won on his return to Celtic Park.
But then, who could forget Martin O’Neill’s finest hour from his first interim spell – the Hoops’ first win in the Netherlands in over 20 years, since O’Neill himself guided them to a 3-1 win at Ajax.
Celtic’s 2-1 win over Sturm Graz is most notable for being Brendan Rodgers’ final home match in charge of the club – you’ve probably forgotten about Tochi Chukwuani’s second-half red card.
But we’ll be seeing a bit more of him soon, given that he is now seemingly on his way to Ibrox.
Kyogo Furuhashi back to Celtic… initial thoughts?
From a Europa League red card vs Celtic to a January move to Rangers
22-year-old midfielder Chukwuani has been with the Austrian side for 18 months, but the Scottish media are now widely reporting that he is on the verge of a move to Glasgow.
According to the Daily Record, a bid of £4 million has been accepted.

Sturm had beaten the Ibrox side in Austria three weeks prior, in Danny Rohl’s first game in charge.
But despite taking an early lead at Celtic Park, they were undone by a quickfire turnaround courtesy of Liam Scales and Benjamin Nygrem.
Rodgers joked about his ‘Honda Civic’ comments after the game, joking that the players “weren’t quite the Ferrari… but I’ll go for Range Rover Sport.”
Just four days later, he resigned from his post… what a mental, mental season.
Sturm now sit in 29th place in the Europa League table, three points from avoiding elimination. Rangers are all but eliminated, with one point.
Celtic, on the other hand, are occupying the last qualification spot – but they may need four points from their remaining ties against Bologna and Utrecht to stay in the tournament.

Martin O’Neill on Celtic’s transfer business
Looking back at O’Neill’s transfer business, then…
Asked about adding some much-needed reinforcements to the squad, the interim boss said: “Of course if you could sign all the players that you’d want to have, it would be great, and it doesn’t work like that.
“I generally work within the parameters of the club, but I’d be hoping that now we’re in a bit of difficulty, we have to fight back, and I would say the same to the board.
“I think we’re all aware, and so are the fans, that we do, the squad needs strengthening, if we can do.
“We’re going all out to try and do that.
“I would be hoping for it, but if the board were to listen to me, then we would have about 56 players, so I will try and narrow it down.
“I think you’d be aware, of what positions we need to strengthen in, and that’s what we’re going to try and do.
“It’s a difficult window, and in terms of buying players, things like this here, that’ll be difficult, but we do need, we do need to supplement the squad, absolutely no question about that.
