Norwegian outlet VG Sport is reporting that Mohamed Elyounoussi will extend his stay at Celtic after agreeing on another season-long loan from English Premier League side Southampton.

Journalist Arilas Ould-Saada had previously reported last week that Real Betis and Celtic were both in discussions with Elyounoussi about a loan move and that the player had a decision to make on his future.
Now it appears he has made his choice and rejected the chance to play in La Liga to push for ten-in-a-row with Neil Lennon and the Bhoys.
Elyounoussi had injury struggles last term but still showed enough quality to suggest he can play a big part in Lennon’s first-team going forward
He scored seven goals and assisted six more in 20 appearances (Transfermarkt), particularly shining in the League Cup semi-final against Hibernian as well as scoring in the Europa League group stage victory over Cluj.
He’ll be a tremendous presence on the left flank if the final paperwork, as reported, can be completed with Southampton over the coming days.
Celtic are in need of wide players next season with Jonny Hayes leaving the club.
James Forrest and Mikey Johnston are our only real recognised wide men in attack right now beyond youth options.
Elyounoussi has the ability and the pedigree to help us across all competitions at home and abroad.
Hopefully we hear confirmation of all this soon!
