With football currently in flux, there is uncertainty about the futures of loan players, and where they will be playing next season.
Of course, two of Celtic’s most important players are loanees, the pair of Mohamed Elyounoussi and Fraser Forster, who are due to return to Southampton at the end of this season – whenever that may be.
However, the pair could be extending their stay at the club.
Journalist confident duo will return
A recent 67 Hail Hail article reported comments from talkSport journalist Alex Crook, who whilst appearing on the radio station with Jim White sounded confident that the duo will extend their loans with Celtic.
Obviously we are a while away from any deals getting signed. However, should the duo remain at Celtic, it would be the perfect start to the Hoops’ bid to land 10 in a row.

For Celtic to have the best chance of winning a tenth successive title – and this season we will be champions, even if we only play 30 games – they need to keep the current squad together, and make a few additions.
Duo have been exceptional at times
Elyounoussi and Forster have, at different times of the season, been exceptional for the Hoops. Elyounoussi before he suffered his foot injury, and Forster for most of the campaign.
Once football is permitted to return, the Hoops should announce that the pair have extended their contracts. It would be the perfect start to the rest of the season, and/or the start of next season.

It would be even better if that announcement was paired with a new deal for Hoops striker Odsonne Edouard. As has already been stated, the best chance of the Hoops continuing the run league titles is if the current squad sticks together.
It is hard to tell if Celtic will be working behind the scenes of contracts and transfers at the moment, but you imagine that the club will have plans in place.
Those hopefully include the return to Elyounoussi and Forster.
