The January transfer window slams shut next week and Celtic’s only major dealing so far has been the arrival of Nicolas Kuhn.
If things start to go up a level during this next week, then you would imagine a striker could be entering the building at Parkhead.
Peter Grant was asked about Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski possibly donning the Celtic colours and he stated that he has been ‘really impressed’ by him this season, as he told Go Radio.
Despite Aberdeen’s struggles in the Scottish Premiership, the 24-year-old has still managed to score nine goals from 18 matches, including 16 in all competitions.
Both the North Macedonia star and Hearts’ Lawrence Shankland seem to be the talk of the striker town in Scotland.
Whether it’s this month or in the summer, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the duo step up a level sooner rather than later.
And Peter Grant was pretty clear that Bojan Miovski certainly has the skill set to step up at a team like Celtic and score goals.
Bojan Miovski at Celtic
“I really like him,” said Grant. “I have been really impressed with him.
“He’s a goalscorer. If he can score goals for Aberdeen, and you get the opportunity to play as many games for Celtic, then you will score goals because we create more opportunities.
“He is only 24 and a number 9 for the national team as well. I watched him against England as well. He did well against England. That’s where I was looking at him. How is he going to be at that level? He seems to have a very good attitude.”

Celtic’s search for a striker
There is no doubt that Kyogo Furuhashi is the number one, it’s a case of bringing someone in to really push him.
If that striker arrives, there is no point in that player being a young star because Celtic have Hyeongyu Oh to help grow.
He has to be ready-made, but saying that is easier said than done.
