Celtic are “carefully monitoring” AS Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen – according to The Scotsman.
The Scottish paper say the 36 time Sweden international is a target for Neil Lennon’s men as the Hoops boss aims to improve his options in nets.
The 30-year-old veteran of the game, is 6ft 5in and “fits the profile” that Lennon is looking for in his new keeper, according to the paper.

The Hoops are down to the bare bones in nets, after both Craig Gordon and Fraser Forster departed the club at the end of last season.
Olsen is contracted at Roma until 2023 (transfermarkt.com) but is clearly not in boss Paulo Fonseca’s plans after spending last season on loan at fellow Serie A side Cagliari.
Olsen wasn’t exactly a regular at the mid-table outfit, featuring in 17 league matches before returning to his parent club earlier this month.

But the giant stopper does have Champions League and Europa League experience in his recent past, having played in Europe for Roma as well as former clubs Copenhagen, PAOK and Malmo.
Olsen was Roma’s Alisson replacement

The Brazilian has since proven himself to be one of the very best goalkeepers on the planet, while Olsen’s standing has diminished.

With three years still on his contract, it’s unclear how much he would cost us this summer.
He certainly has a physical presence and, as Sweden’s number one, a reputation.
Time will tell if he’s the man we want to fill a giant Fraser Forster shaped hole.
