Celtic are eyeing summer moves for Kevin Nisbet and Aaron Hickey, The Scottish Sun reports.
Nisbet has been one of the form players in the Scottish Premiership this season. He’s excelled in his debut Hibs campaign, scoring 18 goals and assisting eight times in all competitions. [Transfermarkt]
The paper report the striker is rated at £3m and has been presented to incoming boss Eddie Howe as an option to sign this summer.
Nisbet is known to want a move away from Hibernian, having handed in a transfer request in January in an attempt to join Birmingham City.
Aaron Hickey, a left-back, is also fancied by Celtic despite choosing to move to Serie A last summer, The Scottish Sun say.
The former Hearts youngster, who also spent time on the books at the Bhoys, currently plays for Bologna. The paper reckons he can be lured back to Scotland for a £4m fee.
Celtic are badly in need of reinforcements in both positions. Players such as Diego Laxalt and Odsonne Edouard are set to leave the club this summer, leaving the new manager short of bodies.
With multiple signings needed, bringing in two young Scottish talents for around £7m would not be bad business at all.
Nisbet has a track record of scoring consistently and Hickey is considered to be one of the best emerging Scottish players.
As squad options go, we could certainly do a lot worse.

Whether they have the quality the be consistent starters is another question, however. Fans may expect the club to try and land a higher tier of player to become prime, first-choice picks.
Interesting times ahead when it comes to player recruitment.
