Manchester City, AC Milan and Burnley are all monitoring summer Celtic target Aaron Hickey, Calciomercato has reported.
Hickey was heavily linked with a move to the Bhoys from Bologna during the summer.
At one point The Scottish Sun reported that a £3.5m bid was set to be lodged, with the club confident of securing his signature. It looked days away, according to the outlet.

Celtic fan Aaron Hickey is thriving in Italy
However, despite Hickey himself being an admitted Celtic fan and discussing that he sometimes misses Glasgow, Bologna decided to reject all offers and make him an integral part of their first-team this season.
Hickey has been in brilliant form, scoring five goals in 20 Serie A appearances, standing out as one of the most effective wide players in the division.
Bologna’s stance appears to have paid off with cash-rich Manchester City and Italian giants Milan now monitoring his progress.
It all seems to price Celtic out of the equation if they are truly keen. Calciomercato does report that Celtic remain interested, but with Hickey’s value seemingly going up and up by the week, it feels unlikely now.
Once on the books as a youngster Lennoxtown, Hickey eventually thrived in the first-team at Hearts. The Bhoys, according to Craig Levein, then made multiple attempts to bring him back to the club.
However, the bold step of moving abroad has apparently done nothing but good things for his development. It’ll be fascinating to see where his career goes from here, even if it’s not at Celtic.
