Odsonne Edouard looks to have played his last game for Celtic.

The Telegraph’s John Percy reports that Crystal Palace have agreed a £15m fee with the Bhoys for his signature.

Edouard is now set to undergo a medical tomorrow morning ahead of the big money switch.

Percy is the journalist who broke the news of Celtic’s interest in manager Ange Postecoglou, before most people in Scotland even knew who he was. So this is about as a reliable source as it gets.

Edouard has played an enormous role at Celtic over the last few years but it has been known for a while he is destined for the exit door.

With less than a year left on his contract, this is the time to sell if the Bhoys are going to realise any sort of cash value for him.

What’s crucial now is reinvesting that money back into the squad tomorrow.

A number of positions need strengthened, not least finding a replacement for the Frenchman himself.

Celtic agreeing on a fee tonight is a positive step. All going well we won’t be caught cold tomorrow.

Postecoglou has spoken about the need for Celtic to be “agile and alert” in the closing stages of the summer transfer window. Hopefully, we see the fruit of that labour with decisive action.

A huge day is ahead to put the finishing touches to a squad that has to compete on multiple fronts for the rest of the season.

In other news, Celtic hopes of new Ryan Christie contract dwindle.
