Left-back Casper Hojer appears to have ruled out an exit from current club Aarhus before Monday’s transfer deadline, despite being linked with a move to Celtic last week.
The Daily Record reported on Sunday that Hojer had moved onto the Scottish champions’ ‘transfer radar’ as an alternative option to Alfie Doughty and was valued at £1.5m by the Danish side.
However, the player has told AGF fansite More Than A Club (h/t Tipsbladet): “As it looks right now, I will stay at AGF. I think (I’m staying). I cannot imagine anything else. At least, I have not heard anything.”

Neil Lennon is on the hunt for a left-back/left wing-back option to compete with Greg Taylor following the exists of Boli Bolingoli and Jonny Hayes.
Taylor is improving in the Celtic set-up but there are question marks about his ability to be a quality mainstay in the team this season.
Having another hungry, talented player on that side would provide the depth needed to continue with the manager’s 3-5-2 system.
Reports regarding a move for Doughty have also gone quiet in recent days but the club really need to deliver someone in the position and now have just a couple of days to do so.

The recruitment team at Celtic Park have until midnight on Monday evening to add to Lennon’s squad.
The club have done excellent business throughout this extended transfer window but can’t let us down now.
We require the depth for a long campaign in domestic and European action.
