Celtic fans on social media seem pleased with two deadline day transfers that were confirmed by the club. Whilst all the attention was on the Greg Taylor deal, the Hoops signed Jeremie Frimpong from Manchester City and Lee O’Connor from Manchester United.
Interestingly, both players have signed four-year deals, which shows that they have been signed for the future as much as the present.
Reaction has been positive

The reaction to the signing of both players has been positive. One fan on social media want as far as to proclaim ‘what a window’.
Here are some of the best reactions from social media to the signings of Frimpong and O’Connor:

It will be interesting to see if the duo make the breakthrough to the Hoops first-team at any stage this season. It will probably be harder for Frimpong, who is a right-back.
May be tough to get game time this season

He will have to compete with Moritz Bauer, Hatem Abd Elhaned and Kristoffer Ajer for a place in the squad. It might be a bit easier for O’Connor to make the breakthrough this season.
He is a defender, but can also play in midfield. However, it might not be we get to see the best of these players for another season at least.
They will need time to get used to Scottish football and playing for Celtic. However, the duo look to be good signings for the future.
