Celtic’s hunt for first-team signings continues this week, with some supporters anxiously waiting on signs of life in the transfer market.

A week into a critical month, the Hoops have yet to make any additions to Neil Lennon’s squad, but there’s still plenty of time and there have been links to players in a variety of positions.

One potential acquisition who is increasing in prominence this week is striker Tino Kadewere.

French outlet RMC Sport have reported this afternoon that Celtic have made a ‘concrete approach’ for the player, alongside Al-Rayan of Qatar and Flamengo of Brazil.

The report states that Lyon and Marseille are also keen on promoting him to Ligue 1, on the back of his sensational form in the French second-tier so far this season.

The 24-year-old has scored an exceptional 17 goals in 19 appearances for Le Havre, attracting a fair bit of hype for his performances.

What the financials of a potential deal look like are yet to be fully known, but The Daily Mail have reported he could cost as much as £10m.

Clearly bringing him to Glasgow is likely to cost a pretty penny, but that hasn’t stopped some fans being excited about what he could offer to the club.
