A January transfer window doesn’t go by at Celtic without one of our high-performing players being linked with a move away from Glasgow.
Neil Lennon and his team are currently enjoying winter training in Dubai, but that doesn’t stop the rumour mill churning and this morning The Daily Record delivered a high-profile report.
The paper say that Leicester City are eyeing up a big-money £30m move for Hoops striker Odsonne Edouard who, as we know, has been in some incredible form this season.
According to the report, Celtic are unwilling to let the player leave this January, but old boss Brendan Rodgers is considering making an approach at the end of the season.
Needless to say it’s all gone down like a bit of lead balloon with some Celtic supporters.
There are those not buying into the report at all and others simply aghast at the idea of selling any player to Rodgers, nevermind our best one.
Thankfully it doesn’t sound like we have to worry about it just yet, but Celtic making it clear to the Leicester boss that there is absolutely no chance of us risking nine-in-a-row by selling him.

Some supporters reckon that if Rodgers is cheeky enough to come in with a bid, we should double our normal asking price!
