Kieran Tierney has written a heartfelt message to the Celtic support after completing his £25 million move to Arsenal.
Writing on Twitter, Tierney admitted that he will ‘cherish every single second’ of the time he spent at Celtic Park.
Unsurprisingly, Tierney’s statement has attracted plenty of attention on social media. One fan responded that the statement was ‘from the heart’.
Here are some of the best comments from social media on Tierney’s farewell to the fans:

It is good to see that Tierney has received praise from the majority of the Celtic support online. That is what he deserves after a stellar career with the Hoops.
Played huge part in winning ‘treble treble’

He played a huge part in helping the side win the ‘treble treble’. That achievement won’t be forgotten about any time soon.
In time though, perhaps the biggest memory fans will have of Tierney isn’t just that he was a fan that played for the team he loved.
Fee received can allow Hoops to continue domination

It is the fee the Hoops received from Arsenal. £25 million is a great sum of money for a Scottish Premiership player. Indeed, it is a new Scottish record.
That money can allow Neil Lennon to buy a host of players that can help the Hoops to 10 in a row and beyond. No doubt Tierney would love to see the Hoops continue their dominance of Scottish football, the money from his transfer can pay the way for that to happen.
