Celtic’s transfer deadline day has been a shocker so far.

The Hoops have failed to sign Kasper Dolberg with the Denmark international having his heart set on a return to Dutch giants Ajax.

While Sekou Mara, who emerged as a loan target, seems more likely to join Auxerre from Strasbourg than Celtic.

Meanwhile, Wales Online have dropped two separate updates concerning Adam Idah and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.

Adam Idah to Swansea latest

Idah is waiting for the green light from Celtic to complete his £7m Swansea City transfer. However, Wales Online say there is confidence the deal can still be completed regardless of outside factors.

They state: “Swansea are hoping are hoping to complete another two moves before the window closes on Monday night, with Celtic striker Adam Idah still expected to make the switch to south Wales.

“Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers had previously suggested the club would need to bring a replacement on board before sanctioning Idah’s exit.

“But sources close to negotiations remain confident the move to Swansea will still happen, regardless of the outcome in Celtic’s chase for Dolberg.”

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi not a Swansea City target

Meanwhile, Celtic have been linked with signing young Crystal Palace winger on loan. Swansea and Rangers have also been credited with an interest.

However, Wales Online state Rak-Sakyi is no longer a target for the EFL Championship side at the moment.

They reported: “Crystal Palace’s Jesurun Rak-Sakyi had previously been mentioned as a possibility by reports elsewhere, but isn’t believed to be a target as things stand, with Celtic and Rangers among the others tipped to make a move.”
