Celtic’s search for fresh players to add to the squad has already begun.
Brendan Rodgers is keen to add to his Celtic first-team and has already been linked to a multitude of players.
Demir Tiknaz is the latest name to be linked to Celtic as the young Turkish midfielder caught the eye of the Parkhead club after an impressive loan spell in Portugal with Rio Ave.
The Portuguese club have first refusal on the youngster but time is running out for them to make an offer as a deadline emerges in when Rio Ave’s right to buy the Celtic-linked player expires.

When Rio Ave must decide to buy Celtic-linked Demir Tiknaz
According to the BBC, Rio Ave have until tomorrow to make an offer for Tiknaz as they look to splash around £4m for the young midfielder.
The Besiktas starlet clearly impressed the Portuguese outfit as they plan to make a quick buck by selling him again in the summer transfer window.
If Celtic wish to buy the talented youngster, a fee of around £8.4m is being mooted but Rodgers faces competition for Tiknaz’s signature.
Ligue 1 side Lille are also said to be interested and that could hike up the price should a bidding war break out.
Demir Tiknaz’s all-round stats as Celtic circle
Tiknaz made 33 appearances for Rio Ave scoring four goals and creating two. Not bad for a defensive midfielder.
However, his all-round stats from Fotmob are impressive and it’s clear how he has caught the eye of Celtic’s scouts.
