Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers will expect movement in both directions once the January transfer window kicks off at Parkhead.
The Bhoys claimed Premier Sports Cup glory against Rangers last weekend and also find themselves top of the pile in the Scottish Premiership with just a few weeks to go until the market opens for business.
Why is this relevant? Well, when pitting their prospects of further domestic silverware alongside still having a chance to secure Champions League knockout progression, you get the feeling these factors could entice new recruits.

Brendan Rodgers has built a competitive environment for success at Celtic. However, his squad is always evolving, so exits in January are likely to make room for quality additions.
In light of this, reports suggest three Bhoys could potentially be on their way out of the club come the January transfer window.
Stephen Welsh leads trio of potential Celtic exits
According to MailSport, Celtic defender Stephen Welsh is set for talks with Rodgers over a potential move out of the club to claim regular minutes across the second half of the campaign.
The Scot currently sits behind Cameron Carter-Vickers, Auston Trusty and Liam Scales in the pecking order and has made just one competitive appearance this term for the Bhoys.
He has been kept around at Parkhead due to the homegrown quota but has received interest from France, Italy and England in recent years.
Luis Palma and Maik Nawrocki are also believed to be ‘considering their options’ as outgoings begin to shape up ahead of the New Year.
Celtic need outgoings to facilitate incomings
Quality over quantity has been a mantra Rodgers has long abided by since entering the Parkhead hot seat for a second time, which makes outgoings a key part of his mission.
More than anything, maximising margins on sales is the main aim in this department, with fringe players holding the potential to inherit healthy fees, which, in turn, increase the possibility of January spending.
The trio in question don’t look to have a prominent part in the long-term future of Celtic, so it makes sense to see if there are any suitors who could offer them a feasible way out.
