Scott Sinclair’s time at Celtic has come to an end. The Hoops attacker has joined Preston North End, after winning a host of trophies with the Scottish Champions.
Sinclair’s time will be fondly remembered by the Celtic support, as it coincided with a period of domestic domination unmatched in Scottish football, and he scored 62 goals for the team in that time.
With that in mind, we thought we’d look by at three memorable moments from Sinclair’s time at Celtic Park. These will hopefully serve as a reminder of just how good a player that Sinclair was.
A DREAM DEBUT

Sinclair’s first game for the Hoops couldn’t have gone any better. Coming on as a second-half substitute, He scored a fantastic breakaway goal to secure a 2-1 win for the Hoops. Interestingly enough, Sinclair had joined the Hoops only a day before making his debut for his new team. It was the beginning of a memorable season for Sinclair, who would go on to score 25 goals. He could have asked for no better start for his career in Glasgow.
THE PERFECT WAY TO CLINCH A TITLE

Celtic’s second visit to Tynecastle in 2016-17 was once again memorable for Sinclair. With the Hoops needing a victory to clinch the league title in Brendan Rodgers’ first season as manager, Sinclair stood up to be counted. He scored a hat-trick as Celtic won 5-0 to emphatically secure the title. As Sinclair had been Celtic’s best player all season, it was fitting that he was the man who done most on the day to win the title. The perfect way for the Hoops to win the title.
ONE LAST MOMENT IN THE SUN

It can’t be denied that Sinclair’s first season at Celtic was the high point of his time at the club. His last two and a half years in Glasgow suffered in comparison, as he failed to live up to that superb first year. That didn’t mean that he still didn’t chip in with vital goals. He did so last season to help the Hoops secure a rare away win in Europe. Celtic’s 1-0 win over Rosenborg featured probably the last big goal that Sinclair scored for the Hoops as his header helped the team on their way to clinching second spot in the Europa League group stages. A fitting way for Sinclair to show that he could still make an impact for the team.
