Transfer deadline day is underway and Brendan Rodgers remains busy in the sales as Celtic strive to seal some last-ditch signings and grant a few outgoings.
Celtic are always a team keeping a keen eye on the market on deadline day, and this year should be no different. The Hoops have had a good window already, acquiring Maik Nawrocki, Luis Palma and most recently, Nat Phillips.
But are they done yet? There are sales to be made and deals that could still potentially happen.
So, with this here are all the potential signings Celtic could make, alongside the players they could sell on deadline day 2023.
Celtic’s potential transfer deadline day signings

There are a few deals that could occur by the end of the day.
Record in Portugal report that highly-rated youngster Paulo Bernardo is expected to fly into Glasgow today to put the finishing touches to his own move from Benfica.
MORE CELTIC STORIES
The winger will be coming to Celtic to develop his talent, with slim chances of breaking through to the Portuguese first-team squad anytime soon.
The Daily Mail‘s Stephen McGowan also reports that a left-back will be coming into the club. Again, the “set to add” phrase is used suggesting that a deal is likely.
At the moment, there are no names floating about at the moment – but this could all change at a moment’s notice, so keep your eyes peeled.

Four players who could still leave Celtic before the window closes

With Celtic strengthening their squad, it’s only right that a few names are also set to depart.
The Daily Mail‘s Stephen McGowan suggests that Albian Ajeti, Ismaila Soro and Rocco Vata could all depart before the deadline.
Ajeti and Soro are both signings that never really did it for the Hoops, so their departure won’t be missed. Both are out of contract next summer, so it’d be great if we could cash in for the duo before the deadline passes for maximum value.
However, the departure of Vata could be a risk. He hasn’t really had a chance at first-team level.
This one is more of a rumour, but midfielder Matt O’Riley is being looked at by two English clubs, according to a report from Sky Sports.
Apparently, the Danish youth international has caught the attention of both Leeds United and Southampton.
Celtic rate him highly – so this likely won’t come off. Let’s see how the day pans out…
