Ange Postecoglou thinks Celtic could still make one more signing in the final week of the transfer window, providing others move out of the club.
The Bhoys have made seven first-team signings this summer with Sead Haksabanovic being the latest player announced on Thursday.
There remains speculation that the Bhoys could still bring in another midfielder. While Postecoglou wasn’t drawn on specific positions he is looking to recruit for, he did admit another deal could be done before the deadline on September 1st. The Celtic boss is also confident no big name players will be looking for the exit door.

As quoted by The Scottish Mail on Sunday [28/08 print edition, page 145], the manager said: “I’d be very surprised if anyone wants to leave this place at the moment.
“We’ll see how the next few days go. There’s the possibility of a couple of outgoings, and that could give us the opportunity to bring another one in.
“There’s nothing fixed in there but if the right opportunity came along we might bring one more in. If we don’t, I am happy with the business we have done.”
Another signing of quality really would tip the window over into a great one for the Bhoys. Postecoglou has raised the depth of the squad significantly while also moving on fringe players who weren’t contributing.
It sounds like we might need to shift on Albian Ajeti, and perhaps someone such as James McCarthy, before really considering an addition.
Ajeti, in particular, is a significant first-team earner, so the club won’t want to load up the wage bill without making a cut in that regard.
Hopefully we see the movement Ange thinks could happen.
