Callum Osmand joined Celtic as Brendan Rodgers’ 5th signing of the summer.
The 19-year-old former Fulham striker is clearly one Celtic see for the future and with two games of the new season gone, fans are yet to see Osmand in action.
When news broke that Celtic wanted Osmand, Fulham fans were absolutely gutted at the thought of losing one of their top young prospects.
And after what Osmand did to Clyde last night in Celtic B’s impressive 3-1 away win, it’s not hard to see why.

Celtic’s Callum Osmand’s ‘rapid pace’ destroys Clyde
Osmand was named in Celtic B’s starting line-up for the opening KDM Evolution Trophy tie against Clyde last night.
And what the youngster did in just 12 minutes virtually killed the tie off as Celtic ran out comfortable winners.
Celtic B’s official X account tweeted on the 9th minute, “The home side are reduced to 10 men after Callum Osmand shows rapid pace to try break in behind, before being brought down.”
Osmand’s impact was immediate as he piled pressure on Clyde with his electric pace. But the Celtic youngster wasn’t done there.
On the 12th minute of the match, Osmand scored his first goal in the green and white Hoops as Celtic B tweeted again, “Callum Osmand fires Celtic in front with a tidy finish, after a clever pass in behind from Donovan.”
The performance and impact Osmand made will do the young Celtic striker’s confidence a world of good as the youngster sends Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers a message that he is not to be forgotten about this season as the Bhoys look for a spark up front.
What Brendan Rodgers told Callum Osmand about his Celtic role
When Osmand joined Celtic, it was largely understood that he did so as a development player at the club.
But what did Celtic manager, Rodgers think?
After signing his deal Osmand revealed, “He just wants me to bring energy.
“Bring what I am good at. Don’t change my game really.
“I feel like I have the qualities to come and show what I can do, so just keep playing my football, and then he is going to help me with little bits.”
I think it’s fair to say that Osmand brought energy and more in his Celtic B debut last night.
