Celtic B will face Rangers B in tonight’s Glasgow Cup final.

The young Hoops will be looking to avenge last season’s defeat after losing the Glasgow Cup final to Rangers 3-2 at Lesser Hampden.

Managed by Stephen McManus, the former Celtic defender will be looking to pick up another piece of silverware as the Parkhead club’s domination of Scottish football continues.

The big game will be played at the home of Partick Thistle in the Firhill Stadium. The match will kick-off at 7pm.

There are no tickets available for the match and it will held behind closed doors.

Celtic team mood ahead of Rangers clash

Celtic’s record in the Glasgow Cup has been excellent in recent years with the Parkhead youngsters winning the last seven out of ten finals.

Looking ahead to the match, young Mitchell Robertson says the team are buzzing and looking forward to the final against their biggest rivals.

Robertson told Celtic TV, “Everyone is buzzing for it. For us, it’s about trying to take the positives from the last time.

“As you come closer to the game, the preparation becomes more tactical and we work on things that Rangers do and what we need to do.

“The mood is brilliant. The boys are really up for it and ready to go.”

The SFA match-appointed referee is Ryan Lee who will be assisted by Alastair Taylor and Chris Gentles on the touchline.
