But supporters who decided to tune into Premier Sports for Celtic B’s KDM Evolution Trophy clash against Alloa Athletic were left fuming.

Celtic B lose 5-4 to Alloa Athletic in KDM Evolution Trophy
The KDM Evolution Trophy is the new name for the SPFL Trust Trophy, or the Challenge Cup if you like. And the format is also different.
Much like the Champions League and Europa League these days, teams play in a gigantic league phase comprised of 30 teams.
Celtic B have played three games so far, with the 5-4 defeat to Alloa on Saturday their first defeat after two wins to kick off their campaign.
Kyle Ure, Jude Bonnar, Sean McArdle and Ben Summers all scored for the young Bhoys, but some awful defending gave Alloa – who play in Scottish League One – the victory.
And it’s safe to say Celtic fans are raging.
Celtic fans make their feelings known after Alloa loss
Celtic supporters are already incensed by the club’s board for a disastrous summer transfer window, so this result has only added fuel to the fire.

“Celtic need to start acting like a serious club. Won’t be long when youngsters choose to go elsewhere to start their career.”
Another said: “When oh when are we going with the club from the very top down to the stewards who are employed there’s incompetence at every level the entire place needs gutted.”
