Viljami Sinisalo edges Auston Trusty in Celtic man of the match vote
While fans on our social media channels waxed lyrical about Auston Trusty’s display at Ibrox, those who voted on TalkingPoints gave Viljami Sinisalo the man of the match award.
Over 600 supporters voted and Sinisalo received 235 votes, which was 11 more than the 224 that were awarded to Trusty.
Despite this, fans were still keen to hand Trusty his flowers following his suspension after being sent off against Hibernian.

One fan said: “Trusty was outstanding. There were a few others such as the rest of the back four and Maeda who all defended brilliantly but I thought big Auston was the best of the lot.”
Another commented: “Sinisalo commanded his area but Scales and Trusty were on another level today. Dane Murray did well when he came on and in midfield I thought Hatate did well.”
This person wrote: “Sinisalo gave the defence confidence. Scales and Trusty also brilliant.”
A fourth added: “Keeper and defenders were excellent to a man today.”
