Our writers at 67 Hail Hail have predicted how Celtic will fare on their trip to Tannadice to face Dundee United.
It is the final game before the international break and Martin O’Neill’s side have the chance to go top of the Scottish Premiership table if results go their way.
With Alistair Johnston and Arne Engels back in training, key players are returning at a crucial time and the confidence from a few weeks of positive results means our writers are expecting another three points.

Who starts alongside Liam Scales against Dundee United?

The last trip to Dundee United was a nightmare of epic proportions under Wilfried Nancy. This will be very different.
Celtic are beginning to get into their groove now and are putting the pressure on those around them. The squad is working hard and a chance to go top of the table into the international break is very appealing.
Tomas Cvancara has scored two big penalties and that will help him from open play. I back him to score, and for the Hoops to record a statement win.
Callum’s prediction: Dundee United 0-3 Celtic

This will be a tough one as United will still be hurting after they collapsed against Dundee.
However, Celtic are on the crest of a wave and after comfortably beating Motherwell 3-1, I’m predicting a narrow away win at Tannadice with Sebastian Tounekti and Daizen Maeda to score.
Paddy’s prediction: Dundee United 1-2 Celtic

Dundee United tend to shut up shop against us but they’ve conceded a lot of goals of late, winning just two league games in 2026. We absolutely should be winning here, but never say never.
I expect Trusty to return to the team, hopefully with Hyunjun Yang and Maeda building from good showings against Motherwell. Daizen could really do with a goal.
Martin’s prediction: Dundee Utd 1-3 Celtic

Celtic were much improved against Motherwell last time out, and you wonder how much not playing in midweek played a part in that.
I can see Celtic looking more fluid against Dundee United because of that. Added to the fact that Jim Goodwin’s men are weak from a defensive aspect, and their collapse against Dundee last week will have had a negative impact.
I think Celtic produce their best attacking display of the season at Tannadice and smash in four goals.
Amir’s prediction: Dundee Utd 1-4 Celtic
