Celtic are primed for their trip to Pittodrie as Brendan Rodgers looks to extend his side’s lead over Aberdeen to seven points on Wednesday evening.
Truthfully, the reigning Scottish Premiership champions couldn’t arrive with much more confidence if they tried after Celtic thrashed Ross County 5-0 last weekend in comprehensive fashion.
The following day, Aberdeen managed to claim a point away at bottom side Heart of Midlothian but will feel frustrated not to have claimed three points after ceding a lead at Tynecastle.
Leaving Celtic four points clear at the summit, the visitors now have an opportunity to pose real questions to Jimmy Thelin’s men and Rangers if they can move further ahead at Pittodrie, which Brendan Rodgers will hope to achieve.

There aren’t any obvious outliers from the Bhoys’ victory over Ross County last weekend, apart from Odin Thiago Holm, who has struggled with reported calf problems recently.
The main question heading to Pittodrie centres around who will start. Luke McCowan and Paulo Bernardo excelled against the Staggies, but it remains to be seen if Arne Engels and Reo Hatate come back in to replace them.
Alex Valle or Greg Taylor is another topic for debate. Adam Idah will also hope his contribution will be enough to see him start over Kyogo Furuhashi, so Brendan Rodgers has decisions to make.
