"Another level"; Celtic supporters couldn't stop praising defender during European win

Celtic supporters enjoyed a cracking win away to Ferencvaros in the UEFA Europa League tonight, as Ange Postecoglou’s side proved themselves lethal in attack.

The Bhoys scored three exceptional goals. Two came in the first half courtesy of Kyogo and Jota, while Liel Abada rounded off the scoring after the interval.

Ferencvaros, in response, could only muster a freak deflected goal and a late consolation. They never really looked like winning or drawing the encounter despite a few Celtic nerves.

Despite this attacking prowess, one of the players who got the most plaudits online through the 90 minutes was Anthony Ralston.

The Academy graduate, who is celebrating signing a new contract this week, was tireless on the right flank.

Not only was he defensively resolute, but he consistently provided a link to push Celtic up the park. He was even unlucky not to score yet another goal this season.

The Bhoys were excellent all over the pitch, but the work effort of players like Ralston and David Turnbull really helped give the team a foothold in the match.

It seems the 22-year-old’s game is going from strength to strength. The decision not to select him for Scotland is looking more and more ridiculous as time goes on.

These fans took to social media tonight to share their joy with Ralston’s performance…
