Brendan Rodgers has confirmed good news about Alistair Johnston, but bad news regarding Daizen Maeda.
Celtic return to Scottish Premiership action on Sunday as they travel to Dens Park to face a struggling Dundee outfit.
16 Hoops stars and youngsters represented their countries over the international break, but not Japanese forward Maeda.
He was called up by Japan for their games against Paraguay and Brazil, which they drew 2-2 and won 3-2 respectively.
But Maeda missed both games due to injury, which cast severe doubt over his availability for Celtic against Dundee this weekend.

Maeda injured but Johnston could be fit for Dundee vs Celtic
Rodgers told the press at Lennoxtown on Friday that Maeda will definitely play no part against Dundee due to a hamstring issue.
Meanwhile, Paulo Bernardo has been unwell and may miss the game, although Johnston has trained this week and could make the matchday squad.
The Celtic boss said: “Daizen Maeda will be out. He felt his hamstring a little bit towards the end of the last game against Motherwell. He went away internationally to see if it would get better, but he obviously didn’t play when he was away.
“So, he will miss this weekend, and we’ll assess it after that. Paulo Bernardo’s been ill, so we’ll see how he recovers in the next 24 hours. Apart from that, everyone’s okay.
“Yes, Ali’s back in training, which is great news for us. Hopefully, all being well, we’ll finalise the squad tomorrow, but hopefully he’s good to go.”
