Fabrizio Romano is reporting that clubs are interested in hiring Brendan Rodgers as their new manager.
Rodgers signed a three-year deal in June 2023 to return to Celtic and that contract is set to expire next summer.
67 Hail Hail understands Rodgers and the Celtic board are not close to agreeing fresh terms, while talkSPORT say the Northern Irishman could return to the Premier League next year.
Rodgers has maintained that he will see out his Celtic contract having last time left mid-season for Leicester City in 2019.
However, he has repeatedly told the press that there’s nothing to share in regards to a new contract at the Parkhead giants.

Romano delivers Rodgers Celtic future update with ‘clubs interested’
Transfer guru Romano, however, does have some significant news regarding Rodgers, stating ‘there are clubs interested’ in Rodgers ahead of a possible 2026 Celtic exit.
However, he believes Celtic will do everything to keep the manager who is the club’s most successful since legends Jock Stein and Willie Maley.
Romano was asked by GiveMeSport: “What’s the latest on Brendan Rodgers’ future at Celtic with his contract expiring in June 2026?”
He replied: “There are clubs interested in Rodgers, so an exit in summer 2026 is a possibility. But not a guarantee yet. Celtic will try their best to keep him.”
Where could Rodgers end up in 2026?
According to talkSPORT, four Premier League clubs could be searching for new managers between now and next summer.
Crystal Palace are flying under Oliver Glasner, with the former Frankfurt head coach linked with Manchester United.
And then there’s Andoni Iraola who is performing miracles at Bournemouth, the smallest club in the English top-flight when it comes to revenue and fans.
Fulham’s Marco Silva will see his contract expire next summer like Rodgers, while Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis is said to be an admirer of the Celtic manager.
