Mark Fotheringham is a fan favourite at Celtic and the Hoops coach has had a new chant dedicated to him.
Fotheringham was brought in as part of Martin O’Neill’s coaching staff and has developed a reputation for being a lively character.
He is well-liked by the players and adored by the fans, who came up with a song for the former Huddersfield Town manager at Ibrox.

Celtic fans serenade Mark Fotheringham at Ibrox
As Fotheringham came out to lead the warm-ups at Ibrox he was given a rapturous reception by the Celtic supporters, who could be heard singing ‘ole, ole ole, Fozzy, Fozzy.’
While the likes of the long-serving John Kennedy were respected by the fanbase, they never seemed to have the same rapport in their coaching roles like the one Fozzy does.
It would have been another proud moment for the former Hoops defender, who said that he is honoured to work alongside O’Neill, the man who gave him his senior debut as a 16-year-old in 2000.
“Working alongside the gaffer is something we would have accepted instantly. Our respect for him is enormous. His record speaks for itself,” said Fotheringham. “To stand beside him at Celtic is a real privilege. Celtic means everything to us.”
The next Celtic manager should keep Mark Fotheringham
O’Neill is set to be replaced in the summer by a long-term replacement, but that doesn’t mean Fotheringham should go.
His relationship with the players is a valuable tool and has definitely improved the harmony around the club.
What is the biggest difference you have noticed in this Celtic side under Martin O’Neill?
Next season will be a big change in terms of who comes and goes, but some stability is required. He knows the standards, is close to seniors like Callum McGregor and keeps the core principles intact.
