Celtic fans were left divided on their late win against Dundee, with some supporters not entirely happy with the performance.

Kelechi Iheanacho’s goal in the 82nd minute ensured the Hoops would go home with the three points and keep themselves firmly in the title race.

Martin O’Neill rued the number of missed chances in the first half, which made the game far trickier than it needed to be, and while it could prove to be a huge three points come the end of the season, our TalkingPoints community were still concerned.

Celtic fans not convinced by win against Dundee

67 Hail Hail fans were asked to provide their instant reaction to the game at Dens Park on TalkingPoints.

Tomas Cvancara received the bulk of the criticism while others felt the all-round display wasn’t enough for them to believe that they could win the league.

A user commented: “Another honking performance but all that mattered was three points. Six more of those will do.”

Another replied: “Scraped through again, but certainly not a great display.”

Who do you think got the final touch for Celtic’s opener?

This person stated: “Cavancara is an absolute donkey. We might as well have kept young Kenny and saved on his wages.”

A fourth commented: “So many frailties in the team. Big players not turning up. Second to every ball. Pushed back after half time and never countered properly. Not many pass marks TBO.”

This TalkingPoints user stated: “Again we can’t play for two halves, and are making things too complicated in the final third. At least we got the three points.”

Another stated: “Get out of jail free card used. That was a hard watch but we move on to next week.”

Finally, this fan said: “What a painful watch that was. First half we should have been out of sight.”
