Celtic’s next match is in the Scottish Premiership.

The Hoops will play Livingston on Saturday for a chance to continue their 100% winning record in domestic competition so far this season.

Then on Sunday, Celtic embark on a mammoth plane journey to Almaty in Kazakhstan ahead of the Champions League play-off second leg.

Celtic could only draw 0-0 with Kairat Almaty in the first leg on Wednesday as the visitors proved too resolute to break down at Parkhead.

However, they will be missing four key players for Tuesday’s massive game.

Kairat Almaty missing four players for Celtic second leg

It is being reported by Sports24 in Kazakhstan that Kairat goalkeeper Aleksandr Zarutsky will not recover from his injury in time to face Celtic.

Zarutsky suffered what appeared to be a leg injury and was substituted off in the 75th minute for the team’s reserve goalkeeper Temirlan Anarbekov.

Youngster Dastan Satpayev will also miss the second leg due to receiving too many yellow cards, thus he will serve a suspension.

And the outlet also claim injured duo Luis Mata and Giorgi Zaria won’t be able to play.

Celtic’s team and injury news

We know for sure that Alistair Johnston will be ruled out of the Kairat showdown in Kazakhstan due to a hamstring injury.

Johnston pulled up in the first-half and had to be stretchered off the field. Brendan Rodgers should reveal the extent of the damage on Friday at his press conference.

Jota is a long-term injury absentee and won’t be available, but it is yet to be known who else may be missing from the squad.
