Celtic predicted XI vs Feyenoord as Martin O'Neill drops two out of form players

Martin O’Neill will have to drop two out of form players for Celtic’s Europa League clash against Feyenoord.

The Hoops travel to Rotterdam on Thursday night where they will be expected to try and pick up their second win of the competition.

Celtic make the trip at the same time when Feyenoord manager Robin van Persie is under pressure after losing to NEC Nijmegen.

Despite Callum McGregor’s winner against St Mirren, there were some players who weren’t up to scratch and need dropping.

Reo Hatate and Sebastian Tounekti dropped for Feyenoord vs Celtic.

Reo Hatate and Sebastian Tounekti are two of the three players that should be dropped by O’Neill and Shaun Maloney.

The two forward-thinking players were uninspired against St Mirren and could easily be replaced by other options.

Tounekti has looked off the pace for a while now, and even though Jota is still on the sidelines, may need some time out of the XI in order to get his spark back.

Kasper Schmeichel will start in goal for the Bhoys in Rotterdam, as expected.

Anthony Ralston drops to the bench and is replaced by Colby Donovan. Auston Trusty, Liam Scales and Kieran Tierney complete the back four.

With Hatate out, Luke McCowan starrs to provide an extra engine in midfield next to captain Callum McGregor and Arne Engels.

Daizen Maeda returns to his favoured left wing position. Johnny Kenny will keep his number nine slot and Benjamin Nygren will play on the right wing.
