Celtic take a break from league action as they turn their attention to the Premier Sports Cup quarter-final.

The Hoops beat Kilmarnock in dramatic circumstances as Kelechi Iheanacho stepped up to score the winning penalty in the 96th minute.

Scottish Championship side Partick Thistle await this weekend and the short trip to Firhill will give Brendan Rodgers the chance to rotate in preparation for the start of the Europa League campaign.

With that in mind, here is how 67 Hail Hail predicts the Bhoys will line up for Sunday’s cup clash.

Paulo Bernardo and Kelechi Iheanacho to be given the nod

There is only a short turnaround before Celtic face Red Star Belgrade and Rodgers will need a full contingent of personnel.

Some positions are going to have to be accounted for, like the right-back slot where Colby Donovan is the only available choice.

After coming off the bench to make his debut, Iheanacho can be afforded the chance to start from the off and get some more minutes under his belt.

It’s also a chance for forgotten man Paulo Bernardo to be handed a first start of the season.

Rodgers admitted that Bernardo is a fringe player, but with so many games coming up, this is the perfect time to rest legs and let him feature.

Celtic predicted XI vs Partick Thistle

It’s wholesale changes, with only three players keeping their place from last weekend’s victory.

In goal is Viljami Sinisalo, who is a more than capable backup, behind a back four of Donovan, Dane Murray, Liam Scales and Marcelo Saracchi.

Moving into the midfield, we will see a new trio of Luke McCowan, Bernardo and Arne Engels.

To complete the lineup, the front three will be Hyunjun Yang, Iheanacho and then James Forrest.

Expect more youngsters and fringe players on the bench to be introduced if things are going smoothly.
