Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team vs Atheltic Club for tonight’s James Forrest testimonial at Celtic Park.
The full match squad is as follows:
Starting XI: Siegrist, Iwata, Carter-Vickers, Nawrocki, Taylor, Kwon, McGregor, Hatate, Forrest Maeda, Kyogo.
Substitutes: Hart, Bain, Starfelt, Scales, Haksabanovic, Abada, Yang, Turnbull, Holm, Oh, Bernabei, O’Riley, Kelly, Ralston, Welsh, McPherson
Tonight’s fixture is all about celebrating the career of Celtic legend James Forrest. However, the Bhoys will be looking forward to playing in front of what could well be a packed Celtic Park as they take to the field for the first time at home this season.
The game will also give the Celtic fans the first opportunity to run the rule over the new summer signings and give those same players a taste of what it’s like to play at Paradise.
In a much-changed squad from the Wolves friendly in Dublin, Siegrist gets a start and we see the welcome return of US defender, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Maik Nawrocki gets his home debut alongside Kwon. James Forrest also gets a start on his testimonial.
Broadcast details
The game will be shown live on Celtic TV where overseas subscribers and those from the UK & Ireland can watch the action live.
There will be a full match replay on Celtic TV from 10pm available to all subscribers. [Celtic FC]

Instant verdict on Celtic team vs Athletic Club
Whilst the match tonight is purely to celebrate the career of James Forrest, it is great to see Kwon and Nawrocki get their first Parkhead run out.
The Celtic supporters will be delighted to see the return of Cameron Carter-Vickers and, hopefully, see Carl Starfelt get some minutes after he was omitted from the Wolves squad. The return of Ralston on the bench is also a welcome sight.
Although this is just a friendly and is all geared up to celebrate James Forrest, there is still plenty of interest for the fans. With Yang and Holm set to make their home debuts, the support will be eager to catch a glimpse of them before the season starts properly at the weekend.
The Celtic supporters will be looking forward to this one as they pay homage to Forrest and they will no doubt give the winger a rapturous reception when the teams take to the field.
