Today is a chance for Celtic open up a 12-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership, with Rangers not playing until tomorrow afternoon at Tannadice.

Postecoglou and his team will be entirely focused on returning to winning ways after the draw at Ibrox on Monday. As expected, the manager has been able to name a strong eleven for that purpose.

There’s a big opportunity for Alexandro Bernabei coming into the team for the injured Greg Taylor, while Aaron Mooy and Jota have also been given starting chances after a spell on the bench.

Broadcast details

Today’s fixture is not being broadcast on Sky Sports, who have chosen another game from this round of fixtures.

The verdict on Celtic team vs Kilmarnock

This is probably the eleven I would have gone for today so there are no complaints here.

I think Aaron Mooy’s inclusion in midfield over Matt O’Riley is a positive based on their current form while it’s always an exciting prospect to watch Jota in action.

Bringing in Bernabei instead of pushing Josip Juranovic on the left flank is also the correct call, based on what we witnessed at Ibrox.

It’s a team full of attacking threats and creativity. Hopefully, it’s too much for a defensively-minded Kilmarnock side.

In other news, No serious offers for Celtic duo despite media frenzy.
