Ange Postecoglou has named his Celtic team vs Motherwell in the Premier Sports Cup tonight.
The full match squad is as follows:
Starting XI – Siegrist, Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Jenz, Taylor, O’Riley, Mooy, Hatate, Abada, Haksabanovic, Kyogo.
Substitutes – Hart, Giakoumakis, McCarthy, Ideguchi, Bernabei, Abildgaard, Maeda, Forrest, Ralston.

The manager has named a very strong line-up for tonight’s test in the Scottish League Cup, bringing back a number of big hitters after rotation on Saturday.
Josip Juranovic, Greg Taylor, Liel Abada and Kyogo Furuhashi all come back into the team, while Benjamin Siegrist gets a rare start, confirming his status as our cup goalkeeper.
Saturday’s hat-trick hero James Forrest is on the bench, with Yosuke Ideguchi and Oliver Abildgaard also in line to get some much-needed minutes if proceedings are going well.

Instant verdict on Celtic team vs Motherwell
I am in no way surprised that Postecoglou has gone for some of the big names who missed out at the weekend. He seems to have a core group of players of a mid-week schedule, perhaps signifying his intent for the UEFA Champions League over the next two weeks.
It’s also good to see that Siegrist’s involvement in the last round wasn’t simply due to Joe Hart’s head knock. He’s been trusted to push on in cup action and fans will be looking forward to seeing what he can offer on his second competitive start.
With loads of firepower on the bench too, including all of the weekend’s goalscorers, Postecoglou has plenty of options should Motherwell make it far closer than anyone wants it to be.
