Celtic team vs Ross County confirmed: 6 changes, broadcast details, instant reaction
Manager Ange Postecoglou has named his Celtic team vs Ross County in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.
The full match squad is as follows:
Starting XI – Hart, Ralston, Carter-Vickers, Jenz, Bernabei, O’Riley, Hatate, Turnbull, Maeda, Kyogo, Haksabanovic.
Substitutes – Siegrist, Taylor, Starfelt, Giakoumakis, Abada, Mooy, Jota, Abildgaard, Forrest.
Celtic have the chance to maintain a healthy lead at the top of the table heading into the World Cup break and will be expected to see off the threat of Ross County.
There’s again significant rotation in the team with the manager making six changes to the starting line-up that defeated Motherwell midweek.
Anthony Ralston, Moritz Jenz, Alexandro Bernabei, David Turnbull, Daizen Maeda and Sead Haksabanovic all come into the eleven, giving the Bhoys a lot of freshness and new combinations.
Today’s match is not being shown live in the UK & Ireland, nor on a variety of channels globally.
The only place to get coverage is as a worldwide subscriber of Celtic TV outside of this country.
BBC Radio Scotland will be providing live audio commentary across their platforms.
Instant verdict on Celtic team vs Ross County
With this match being the last of a busy run, I don’t think I was expecting as many changes to today’s lineup as we’ve seen. Nonetheless, you can’t say rotation has been bad for the team through the weeks, so I have no real issues with the eleven fielded.
I think Turnbull could be one to watch today after his sublime assist on Wednesday night, while it’s always good to see minutes for new signings such as Bernabei and Haksabanovic.
There’s significant talent in the starting eleven and on the bench and it should be more than enough to get the better of Malky Mackay’s outfit.
In other news, Celtic fully vindicated on Scottish FA complaint.
