Celtic continue their quest for yet another domestic Treble this weekend as they face Hibs in the Scottish Cup.

The Bhoys reached the quarter-final stage of the competition after a thumping 5-0 victory over Championship outfit Raith Rovers in early February.

And they were handed another home tie – but it won’t be as straightforward as last time. Hibs are in incredible form under David Gray and haven’t lost a single match since Celtic beat them 3-0 in early December.

Moreover, they were the last team to beat Celtic as they came away with a controversial 2-1 triumph at Easter Road on a sluggish afternoon for the Hoops.

Daizen Maeda’s goal was disallowed by VAR that day and that would have levelled things up at 2-2. The SFA’s head of referees Willie Collum has since confirmed that decision was wrong.

Celtic bounced back incredibly well by scoring 10 goals in consecutive matches against Aberdeen and St Mirren – more of the same at Parkhead on Sunday would be fantastic entertainment for the fans, perhaps not so much for the 7,000 Hibs supporters.
