Don Robertson will take charge of Sunday’s derby between Celtic and Rangers.
The Hoops are at Ibrox for the first meeting with our fierce rivals this season. It’s been a tough few weeks for the team but we still have a chance to go four points clear of Rangers if we come out on top.
The matches are almost always action-packed affairs and undoubtedly the toughest test any referee can face in Scotland.
The SFA announced the officiating team for the game on Tuesday morning with Robertson the man in charge on the pitch.
He will be assisted by Frank Connor and David Roome while Steven McLean is on fourth official duties.
Alan Muir is in the VAR studio for the match with Daniel McFarlane assisting him at Clydesdale House.

Sunday will be Robertson’s second taste of the fixture but the first time he has actually had days to prepare for his role.
His first derby as referee arrived in April’s Scottish Cup semi-final. Robertson was initially meant to be the fourth official for the Hampden clash but had to step in as referee at the last minute after Willie Collum picked up an injury during his warm-up.
Celtic won the match on the way to a fifth treble in seven seasons, with Robertson having a pretty solid game.
He did, however, seem to miss a clear foul on Matt O’Riley at the edge of the Rangers box, which actually led to Jota’s headed winner.

“It was definitely a foul,” O’Riley told the Glasgow Times after the game. “I was appealing for it and the ref told me it probably was a foul when I walked past him but he said: ‘If I’d given the foul then you guys wouldn’t have scored’ and I was like: ‘Yeah, fair enough.’
We’ll take a few similar moments this weekend at Ibrox.
