Celtic players have been revelling in the joy of yesterday’s Scottish Cup win over Hearts on social media, having booked another date at Hampden in a cup semi-final.

Ange Postecoglou and his side have reached the semi-final stage of all four domestic tournaments since the Australian’s arrival, going on to win two of them and having the chance of another.

Goals from Aaron Mooy, Kyogo Furuhashi and Cameron Carter-Vickers powered the team to a 3-0 victory over Hearts on Saturday, with Joe Hart noting on his Instagram account that if the usually serious-faced Carter-Vickers is smiling then things must be going well for the Bhoys.

Celtic players full of happiness right now

Kyogo meanwhile had a simple message to share, stating: “Teamwork makes the dream work 🤝🏻🍀”

Greg Taylor was delighted to see the Japanese striker share a picture of the two of them in the comments, noting on his own page that Celtic are heading back to a big occasion at Hampden.

Winger Jota was a little more philosophical, making it clear he is loving his time at Celtic with the message: “Glad we can all live this together 🤍”

The team will have had the chance to reflect on another fine afternoon’s work, but it’ll be right back to the hard work early this week at Lennoxtown with one match remaining before an international break.

Hibernian visit Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon for Scottish Premiership match 29 of the season. There are just ten games remaining including that one as the Bhoys continue to close in on another title.

Rangers will have already played by the time kick-off comes at 3pm but the Bhoys will have the chance to at least maintain a nine-point lead at the top of the table with just these handful of games to go.

It’s easy to see why there’s such a good feeling amongst the squad right now.

In other news, Ange Postecoglou’s big praise for Aaron Mooy as Celtic Scottish Cup run continues.
