Chris Sutton echoed the thoughts of Celtic fans after they were held to a goalless draw against Kairat Almaty.
Celtic failed to impress against Kairat and created one clear chance all game, which couldn’t be put away by Daizen Maeda.
Chants of ‘sack the board’ were loud all across Celtic Park on Wednesday night and it didn’t get much better after Alistair Johnston was stretchered off.
The game left more question marks over the Hoops’ summer recruitment for some, including Sutton.

Chris Sutton accuses Celtic of failing to plan
This summer transfer window hasn’t been quiet at Celtic and eight players have come through the Parkhead doors.
Nicolas Kuhn left to join Como too, while the hunt to replace Kyogo Furuhashi is still ongoing.
Patience is wearing thin for some, and Sutton didn’t hold back when telling the club that they only have themselves to blame.
He said: “So many wrong things. Bad idea selling Kyogo and selling Kuhn before the most important game of the season. Replacing neither.
“Brendan starting with a striker he doesn’t want to start. Tierney not lasting and Scales playing at left back. Fail to prepare, prepare to fail…”
Celtic still have time to make this right
Brendan Rodgers cleverly responded to the fans’ frustrations and alluded to the fact that the club have been in this situation before.
Rodgers is right, Celtic have experienced this during a Champions League qualifier against Rosenborg where the Bhoys were held at home before winning in Norway.
The lengthy trip to Almaty is going to throw up new obstacles and although they will be aware that Kairat are yet to lose on home soil in the competition, they still have enough firepower to get them over the line.
