Celtic won’t be pleased with their performance despite beating Auchinleck Talbot in the Scottish Cup.
Johnny Kenny and Sebastian Tounekti scored the goals as the Hoops made extremely hard work of a side that are over 10,000 places below them in the Opta power rankings.
Martin O’Neill made 10 changes to his side to get a glimpse of some of those who were in need of minutes, but none were really able to convince at Rugby Park.
Auchinleck even threatened to score a goal on some occasions, but the Bhoys did enough to see things over the line and advance to the next round.
With that, here are five things 67 Hail Hail learned from Celtic’s Scottish Cup win.

My Celtic man of the match against Auchinleck is…
Result only proves that Celtic need more bodies in the door
A win is a win and in terms of the league and Europe, results are more important than performances right now.
However, the showing against a sixth-tier side was painful to watch at times.
A lack of urgency, vision, creativity made for tough viewing.
In theory, Celtic should have been recording a biggest Scottish Cup win of all time, but they limped over the line.
If there was ever a sign that Celtic need signings, it’s that.
Time is up for one Celtic player, it isn’t Michel-Ange Balikwisha
Michel-Ange Balikwisha may have been in the headlines for all of the wrong reasons, but Paulo Bernardo didn’t do his chances any better.
Brendan Rodgers said Bernardo was a fifth choice midfielder during the final few days of his tenure and it is clear to see why.
After putting in a disastrous performance against Motherwell, things were no better as he failed to make any sort of impact against a non-league side.
It’s time for Celtic to cut their losses and let him go elsewhere.
He’s done after that performance
Colby Donovan’s versatility
One of the few that can hold their head up high this season is Colby Donovan.
The teenager has broken into the first-team and played at right-back and on the right-hand side of the back three under Wilfried Nancy.
He hasn’t looked out of his comfort zone either and was handed a new test today by being made to play left-back.
Donovan passed it with flying colours and is emerging as a very versatile option.
Celtic fans make feelings clear with hilarious chant
Supporters continued to vent their anger at the board over various issues on and off the pitch.
Transfer – or the lack of – activity has been the main source of frustration as Celtic go into the final two weeks of the window with a grand total of one addition.
‘Sack the board’ and ‘C’mon the Hoops’ have been continuous themes over the past few weeks but now fans have come up with a new version of the same chant with a ‘Sign a player! Sign a player!’.
The feeling is clear. Over to you, Celtic board.
No injuries is a bonus
At times it was hard to tell if the TV was out of tune or if the pitch at Rugby Park was really that bad. It was the latter.
Kilmarnock’s plastic-based surface has caused plenty of debate in the past and was another point of discussion again.
It looked rough to say the least, making some five-a-side pitches in Glasgow looking like a carpet. Thankfully there were no injuries from it, which is of course a huge bonus.
