Many Celtic players have been in and out of the side under Brendan Rodgers this season, no more so than forgotten man, Gustaf Lagerbielke, as well as, Paulo Bernardo.
The 21-year-old, on loan at Celtic from Benfica, had previously earned more minutes in the Champions League than in the Scottish Premiership.
But in recent matches, and after back-to-back defeats for the Bhoys, he was brought back into the fold and has now started the last two games, including scoring his first goal for the club on Boxing Day.
In what was a dominant display, Celtic, in the end, cruised to a 3-0 win, with Paulo Bernardo opening the scoring.
It was a much-needed goal for a midfielder trying to find his feet at Parkhead.
As you can imagine, the youngster was quick to express his delight on Instagram by writing ‘important win’ and ‘see you on Saturday’.

In the comments section of Paulo Bernardo’s IG post, Gustaf Lagerbielke, who hasn’t been seen since scoring the winner in the Champions League win over Feyenoord, wrote ‘well deserved’, whilst Luis Palma simply wrote ‘Manooo’.

The January transfer window is approaching, and Lagerbielke isn’t just struggling for minutes, but a spot on the bench.
Then there is talk of changes going to be made in January and how Rodgers wants quality. And in order for players to come, some need to go out.
It automatically starts to make you question if Lagerbielke’s time at Celtic is over before it even started.
He hasn’t featured in a matchday squad since September. Played only 376 minutes of Premiership action and only 78 minutes in Europe.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if he is the one who will be out of the door because the signs don’t look promising.
