Celtic have left Hugh Keevins with egg on his face again with a win over Motherwell.
It has almost become a running joke at this point, with the notorious journo and radio pundit making a habit out of betting against Martin O’Neill’s men this month.
In both of Celtic’s trips to Ibrox in March, Keevins tipped them for defeat. In both of their trips to Tynecastle this season, he tipped them for defeat (once correctly, to his credit…)
But with so much riding on today’s game for both teams, O’Neill’s side have ripped up the script again.
Massive three points. Your instant thoughts…

Celtic prove Hugh Keevins wrong with win vs Motherwell
Speaking on Clyde Superscoreboard before the game, Keevins had said: “I think Celtic would be failing as a club if they didn’t have Jens Berthel Askou on their list of potential candidates.
“There’s no point… we’re here in professional journalism-land, and that’s just the case.

“Celtic’s judgement of players is appalling, when you see people who are getting a game now. But they would have to have Askou on a list of candidates.
“However, that’s for later. His job tomorrow is to win the match for Motherwell. For me… Maswanhise, Just, everyone… they play such terrific football.
“I think, though they had a real setback at Dundee last weekend, I think Celtic – the loss of Trusty who was outstanding against Rangers last weekend – I just think it points to a difficult day for Celtic.
“As for up front, I think Celtic are woefully short. And I mean woefully short.”
As it turned out, Daizen Maeda and Yang Hyun-Jun both excelled on the day, with the latter being named man of the match with a brace.
Tomas Cvancara also came from the bench to score, whilst at the back, Liam Scales and Benjamin Arthur looked an accomplished partnership.
Just about everything that Keevins could’ve got wrong about Celtic, he got wrong.
What did you make of Benjamin Arthur’s performance against Motherwell?
Celtic’s remaining fixtures before the split
O’Neill’s men now face back-to-back trips to Dundee, where they have already lost to both clubs this season.
They then welcome St Mirren to Celtic Park before playing them again in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
The Buddies will likely have a new manager in place by then, with Stephen Robinson leaving for Aberdeen this week, drawing his first game against Falkirk.
The Tayside pair will face off at Dens Park on Sunday, whilst third-place Rangers play the managerless Saints in Paisley.
