Former Celtic striker John Hartson is excited about tonight’s match at home vs FK Jablonec in UEFA Europa League qualifying.

Hartson was critical of the team’s defensive performance on BBC Scotland after the first leg. However, that hasn’t dampened his mood ahead of this evening.

The former Wales forward is on co-commentary duties with Gerry McCulloch for Celtic TV tonight. And it’s fair to say he’s looking forward to a sold-out Celtic Park.

He wrote on Twitter a short time ago: “I have a feeling Celtic Park will be rocking tonight… I can sense it in the air… feel it!”

Thousands of supporters are visiting Paradise for the first time in well over a year tonight and it’s set to be an emotional occasion for all involved.

That fact is even overshadowing the football a little bit. But Ange Postecoglou and his squad will be solely focused on the task at hand.

Celtic have a 4-2 advantage over the Czech team but with the away goals rule changing, the tie is far from over. We need a professional, efficient performance from the Bhoys tonight.

They need to harness the energy from the crowd and translate it into the kind of football we witnessed against Dundee on Sunday. Do that and it’ll be into the playoff round to face AZ Alkmaar.

If you’re heading to the match tonight, simply take it all in, wear your colours with pride and make as much positive noise as you can.

Come on the Bhoys!

In other news, Luca Connell impresses for Celtic B and fans want to see more of him.
